A creative walking woodland experience, no artistic ability required!

Date : Saturday August 24th

Time : 10 am

Meet : Butterdean Wood car park

With : Fantoosh Sketching

Recharge, restore and create in lovely Butterdean Woods with Lynn Fraser aka Fantoosh Sketching. Expect a mindful, creative journey amongst the trees with playful creative approaches, designed to promote curiosity, connection to nature, to self and each other.

Lynn will share techniques, tips and the many benefits of her daily creative, connective practice of nature journaling that helps both physical and mental health.

As an artist and creative well-being practitioner, Lynn loves to gather together people and nature to make art in playful yet thoughtful ways – and is a great lover of dandelions.

Please bring a journal or sketchpad, a pencil/pen and a curious mind.

Come dressed for the weather and bring a reusable cup or mug.

Suitable for ages 13+. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

After exploring, there’s an invitation to gather, have some cake and try some dandelion tea. Butterdean Wood has a few lovely picnic spots which people are welcome to stay and make use of with a packed lunch after our Sketch and Wander walk.
