Coastal walk with the Rangers

Group walks 2026

Medium (half day)

Rangers coastal walk, Gullane to North Berwick

Gullane

Slow-paced walk along beaches and coastal paths, looking at wildlife on the way

Date:  Wednesday August 26, 2026

Time:  9.30am to 1.30pm

Meet:  Main Street, Gullane

With:  East Lothian Council Countryside Rangers

With the wind at our backs and the sun in our faces (availability permitting), this one-way coastal walk of 11km / 7 miles will take us past beaches, rocky outcrops, islands and caves.

Your Countryside Ranger guide will point out interesting wildlife along the way from things washed up on the strand line to birds migrating overhead.

We will be walking mainly along beach and path terrain, with some short sections over rock. We will go at a fairly easy pace – the slower we go, the more we see!
