A short walk (3 km – 4km) along the beautiful River Esk

Date : Monday August 28th

Time : 10 am

Meet : Maggie’s Café, Queen Margaret University campus

With : QMU Wellness Walks

Research has shown that walking alongside moving water has a de-stressing, calming effect, the perfect way to start the week! Join QMU Wellness Walk group for a 3-4km walk along the beautiful River Esk, close to the campus.

This walk is open to all abilities and ages. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.

Expect to be out  for  1-1/4 hours.

The route uses a mixture of tarmac and earth paths, narrow pavements and a very short section on a quiet access road. Please note we will also be crossing the B6415 which can be busy with traffic.

Please make sure you have appropriate footwear, a waterproof (just in case) and water.

The walk ends at Maggie’s where you can get food and drink.

The QMU Wellness Walks are run on the same basis as meeting up with friends for a walk. Please note that all taking part agree to be responsible for their own safety and risk assessment, and adhere to the Outdoor Access Code.
