A fairly gentle walk exploring Musselburgh’s scenic surroundings

Time: 10.30 am

Meet: Brunton Theatre car park

With: Meet Up And Walk

The 6 mile circular medium paced walk will follow the River Esk to Inveresk Gardens (NTS free entry, otherwise donation box – £3 suggested). We will have a look around gardens and have lunch.

Return to start point will be via Lewisvale Park.

The walk is mainly on tarmac but there will be gravel and earth paths which may be uneven and slippy. It is mainly flat with 2 steep areas in woods during the walk.

What to bring

Please bring a picnic lunch. Lunch stop at Inveresk Gardens.
