A long but mostly level walk on good surfaces
As well as beautiful vistas we are likely to see kittiwakes, fulmars, gannets, shags, herons and much, much more.
The route is fairly level so suits average fitness, on a mixture of surfaces from tarmac to sand and mud.
The walk starts from the meeting place at Dunbar Leisure Pool – the grassy area in front of it with the picnic tables – and ends in the lovely, historic village of East Linton.
It will take about 3.5 hours with the finish around 1pm in East Linton, where there are plenty of pubs and cafes for a post-walk lunch.
What to bring
Please wear sturdy footwear and have suitable clothing for the weather.
Please also bring water and any food you may need.
Travel
Please make your own arrangements for your onward/return journey.
Note that East Linton has regular bus services to Haddington (X7, 253), Dunbar (X7, 120, 253) and North Berwick (120).
