This 10 mile walk follows a circular route from Spott, taking in Doon Hill – the site of 6000 year old neolithic structures and also the place where the Scottish army camped prior to the Battle of Dunbar in 1650. The way then passes through the Spott estate, to the Brunt and the hidden gem of Woodhall Dean Nature Reserve, where if you are lucky, you might spot an adder! The walk turns round to pass by Black Loch before returning to the pick-up point in Spott village. The route distance is 10 miles with 250mtrs of ascent.
