Short-to-medium scenic walk
Starting at the ruins of St Martin’s Church, this walk takes you through Haddington golf course and into the 18th century Amisfield Walled Garden, which is being restored by the Amisfield Preservation Trust. One of the most extensive gardens in Scotland, it is open to the public (see its website for details).
The route continues around the golf course before returning to Haddington via the Waterloo bridge. It follows the River Tyne pathway until crossing the river again at the Nungate bridge.
