Another wonderful walk with the Meet Up and Walk group, this walk will take you into the countryside around the beautiful and historic village of Pencaitland.
From its start point at the Bowling Club, the route winds through the village before joining the core path network along woodland trails, field margins and the old Pencaitland Railway line.
You will soon reach your half-way point, the recently restored Glenkinchie Distillery, where you can stop to admire their wildlife garden and maybe enjoy a refreshment from their cafe. Your return path will take you back to the Bowling Club for approximately 12.30pm
The group is a small one with a maximum of only 10 people. We will also welcome up to 3 well-behaved dogs (1 per person) if they are kept on leads. Please select the appropriate ticket type.
Note that although the paths will be mainly flat, they can still be muddy so please wear appropriate and comfortable footwear. Its always good to be prepared for the Scottish weather so bring waterproofs, sunscreen, insect repellent and water!
