Improve health & wellbeing, increase fitness levels, lose weight, learn a new activity or just have fun in the outdoors – Nordic Walking is for you!
Walking with Nordic poles gives the whole body a workout without the stress on joints and improves heart health.
I walk a 3 mile circular route with my regular group and it varies weekly. The pace is regular and we have a warm up and cool down each session.
There are two ‘taster’ sessions, Sunday 31st August 10-11.30am and Tuesday 2nd September 6-7.30pm. Both start and end at the Corn Exchange in Haddington. I will supply Nordic walking poles to use at each session and I have full Instructor insurance courtesy of British Nordic Walking.
Anyone over the age of 15 is welcome but please note that you will need to register beforehand with me, Jane Miller, the Nordic walking instructor. Details below.
What to bring
Comfortable footwear, a waterproof outer layer, a small waist pack/backpack with a drink &/or a snack!
More information
Dogs are not allowed on my walks but if you are interested I have advice on Nordic walking with your dog. Age 15 and over.
