A circular riverbank, lagoon and coastal walk of 8 km (5 miles)

With : Meet Up and Walk
Join a small group (12 people) for a medium-paced walk around Musselburgh.
The Meet Up and Walk group will take you along the route of the John Muir Way, exploring the lagoon area to Fisherrow harbour. The walk is mainly flat and uses a mixture of established paths, tarmac and grass, and some pavements.
Please make sure you wear comfortable and appropriate walking shoes or boots. Bring waterproofs and sunscreen too, just in case!
The circular walk starts and finishes at S. Luca’s Ice Cream Parlour but please bring a drink and a snack for a midway stop. Toilet facilities will also be available midway. There should be opportunities to purchase a drink on the way if need be.
We are happy to accommodate 3 well-behaved dogs (1 per person) who must be kept on a lead during the walk. Please make sure you select the appropriate ticket type.

The Meet Up and Walk group are delivering a number of walks for the Festival. As a group, they offer opportunities for people who like to walk, to meet up and go for a walk on the same basis as meeting a group of friends. Check out their Facebook group to find out more about them.
