Dunbar and East Linton

Start : Dunbar harbour

Finish : Winterfield Park

Length : 2 km / 1.5 miles

Short and accessible, with great views

Starting from Dunbar harbour, this short walk climbs the hill to the swimming pool before winding its way along the paved clifftop trail to the viewpoint at Winterfield Park.

Wheelers may wish to return the same way or use the path through the park to join North Road back to the town centre. It’s possible for walkers to continue along the John Muir Way to Belhaven.

Facilities

Refreshments and toilets are available in Dunbar town centre and at Belhaven.

Walkability

Good paved route suited for wheelers as far as Winterfield Park, with an optional continuation to Belhaven for walkers.
